Hi Everyone!
Congratulations again to the girls for earning League Champion and Conference runner-up, as well as the boys for League runner-up! I couldn't be more proud of you all!
Thank you for all the support over the weekend to make the banquet happen and senior night. That was such a blast! It is always bittersweet when the season closes.

If you are on this list and have winter sports starting, please reach out to me so I can further explain why we don't do this. Nobody should be doing double days or missing practice for another sport. Our focus is CIF and last year doubling up cost us the race. Your other coaches must hold a spot for you until our finals are complete. Direct them straight to me if they have a problem with that.
Practice this Week:
Monday- Kit Carson 3:45-5:20
Tuesday- Del Dios 3:45-5:20
Wednesday- RB Community Center 3:45-5:20
Thursday- Kit Carson 3:45-5:20
Friday- CAHS 3:30-4:15
CIF Saturday:
CIF is at the Morley Field Sports Complex in Balboa Park. This is the same location as Coach Downey Invite for those of you that attended. I recommend going early if you don't want to have to deal with parking. Everyone should shoot to be there by 10:15 to make sure we get checked in and settled with no rush.
Boys race at 11:45am and girls race at 1:20pm. Let's get as many of us as possible out to support them! If the team scores top 3 in SD we will continue on to state finals. With the right attitude and a hard fight we should qualify for boys and girls. You won't want to miss it as this is a first for us if both teams place!
Awards for boys are done at 12:45pm and for girls at 2:10pm by the senior citizens building.
Looking Forward:
If you have a student racing this week and have not booked a hotel for yourself and family at state, I highly recommend doing so ASAP. It is extremely difficult to find hotels due to the immensity of the race as well as Thanksgiving travel not helping the availability. As I stated a few weeks ago, the coaches and athletes are already booked at the Sonesta in Fresno about 15 minutes from the race. We will leave early Friday morning and review the course then have a team dinner. We head straight back after racing Saturday. _____________________________________________________________
