Please see information below about our upcoming practices/events.
We have one more practice this week tomorrow Friday- 8:30am-11am @ Washington Park Pool.
We have a Scrimmage vs Mission Hills on Saturday morning at Palomar College. (8/17)
Varsity scrimmage starts at 10am. Players need to be there at 915am. JV scrimmage starts at 11am. JV players need to be there at 10am.
Week 3 Info-
Monday 8/19- Practice 8:30-11am @ Washington Park Pool.
Tuesday 8/20- Practice 8:30-11am @ Washington Park Pool.
Wednesday 8/21- In past couple days i was offered the opportunity to add another scrimmage so please see the info about our recently added scrimmage below.
8/21 vs Canyon Crest Academy. Location- Cathedral Catholic High School. Times- Varsity 7pm start time. Warm up at 6:15pm. JV will start at 8pm. They need to be there at 7pm for warm up. I apologize for adding this the night before school starts but its a great opportunity for our boys to get playing time and i really wanted to play this team.
Thursday 8/22 & Friday 8/23- JV players have practice both days 3-5pm @ Washington Park Pool.
Rancho Bernardo Varsity Invite- 8/22,8/23,8/24-
Schedule-
Thursday 8/22- Game 1- 7:10pm vs Eastlake HS. Location- Westview High School. Warm up- 6:15pm.
Friday 8/23- Game 2- We will play at 6:15 or 7:10pm at either Westview HS or Rancho bernardo HS.
Saturday 8/24- Game 3 & 4 will be on Saturday at one of the same two pools listed for Friday. Schedule will be determined by if we win or lose our first games.
This is a good tournament for us and should be a lot of competitive games. The full schedule is attached.
Rosters-
The rosters below are for both scrimmages and the tournament next week. Basically these are the rosters for right now but this does not mean every single one of the guys on Varsity will stay there all season. I've got a big group of Juniors/Seniors and I am trying to consider all factors while also giving players a chance to prove themselves. There could be a few guys moved down to JV after the first tournament and then maybe called back up when we get close to CIF. There maybe a few guys that play some varsity and some JV this season.. We have many talented players right now and my number one goal is to make everyone work together while having them consistently improving. Our Varsity team has a very real chance to compete for a Division 2 championship this season and we will be playing to win every chance we get since every real game matters for CIF. Playing time will be dependent on how the game is going and i will do my best to play everybody but it will be competitive. Some players might have to learn by watching at times so they can come back next season and hopefully contribute. Our JV team has a great core of players and overall should be very competitive. I care about every single player in the program and my goal is to make everyone enjoy the sport of water polo.

My goal is to get the varsity roster closer to 15 guys if possible. I am still working through seeing who is the best fit and i will continue to move players around as i see fit. I will do my best to keep players and parents informed on why things are happening. This sport is very hard and we need our Varsity and JV players training year round at the club level if we expect to stay competitive in the coming years.
