Hello Everyone!

Amazing job last week at conference finals, we did phenomenal! I have medals for the top 3 in the league for each that I will distribute at the banquet. There were so many I broke the bag they put them in!

Speaking of that end of season thing, for the banquet we are looking at Monday, May 20th in the afternoon. Location and exact time TBD, but probably will be 4-7pm as a potluck. Go ahead and mark your calendars for that afternoon as it is best fit from the options we have.

CIF Section Finals:

I just got the updated performance list for CIF this weekend. This includes the league champ for each event, at large, and anyone that auto-qualified. Most of you that competed last week made it on the list so please review it closely.

The list is made up of 40 athletes, 27 who are competing and 13 alts. For relays, it is top 18 instead of 27. To make it even easier, the green dot next to your name means you are in, the orange dot means you are an alternate. Alternates have a very high chance of moving up with scratches.

Regardless of alternate or in please let me know by Tuesday if you know you cannot attend the meet on Saturday so I can scratch you. Time of your event is next to the event title on the performance list if you need to check availability. This list will update again on Wednesday night/Thursday morning after scratches are all completed with official entries.

The meet will be at Valley Center HS from 10am-4pm.

Practice This Week:

If you are on the list, yes you need to be at practice this week. Make sure to send me the makeup workouts if you miss. This is not the week to slack, you made it this far with hard work so push through together and ride the wave.

Relay team alternates from last week, plan on coming as well please. We used two in one race on Thursday so be ready for anything again.

We will have our usual Mon-Thur practice from 4-5:15 and Friday premeet from 4-4:45. Please bring your spikes every day.
