Happy Sunday Caiman Tennis Family!
We are on a good streak! Thursday's first league Match against SD Jewish Academy was a nail biter as it was tied in “SETS” therefore we needed to count “GAMES” to see who the victors were….CAIMAN clinches another “W” with winning in total of games 84 - 68. Way too close for comfort! Congratulations on a good fought win. We are now 7 - 0 on the books.
We are preparing ourselves for our upcoming seasoned opponents in the next couple of weeks. So let’s start having more “GRIT”, more Grrrrr, building more confidence and consistency. With this formula - EVERYTHING is possible:)
Our "Player of the Week” goes to Grace Bantz. Grace is one of our new incoming freshman to make the Varsity team. We saw good potential abilities in her and we are happy she tried out and made the team. Although new to tennis, she’s fast & she’s athletic. Grace watches everything! She’s eager to learn the ins & outs of tennis. In the early weeks of the season, Grace had hesitancy to play “real” matches, but after weeks of practice and BELIEVING in herself - her fears started to decrease and confidence started to show in her body language, her eyes and voice:). Grace was ready to be put in and face her fears. She played Single's and Double thus far. She enjoyed every minute of her game and was focused and she was LEARNING!!!! Grace you are doing a fantastic job and keep believing because it only gets better and better each day!!! You Rock! Congratulations on being this week’s “Player of the Week”

Thursday 9/21 “HOME” Match vs. Escondido Charter. Early release 2:15pm
Friday 9/22 "HOME” Match vs. Vista High School. Early release 2:15pm
