Hey Team!
For me, Thanksgiving eve is where my excitement begins. I make sure to get a good night's rest because for the past several years Thanksgiving starts off with playing football with my friends. We play for a few hours before I head over to my sister's house where I spend the rest of the day with my family doing what most of you do as well: eat way too much. No matter what you did on Thanksgiving day, I hope you enjoyed your time with your loved ones.
Suddenly, it is December and tryouts are only 70 days away! With that in mind, we are resuming our pre-season training and here is the plan for this week and don't forget to use the link below to sign-up for each training session:
***Rain or Shine***
Tuesday, 12/3: 2 mile run @ 320p (~30 minutes); High 65, cloudy
Thursday, 12/5: 2 mile run @ 320p (~30 minutes); High 63, cloudy
Saturday, 12/7: 2 mile run @ 900a (~30 minutes); High 62, rain
*Please note that if no one signs-up for a given training time no volleyball staff will be present (especially Saturdays).
**Make sure to bring good running shoes and a water bottle. Drink plenty of water and stay off the sweets to maximize your training/conditioning experience.
***All training/education/conditioning sessions prior to tryouts are 100% optional.
