Hey Football Family,
This week in football: Finish
Football can be full of ups and downs.
Whether the downs outnumber the ups or the ups outnumber the downs…finish well.
I am sure that you have heard throughout your life that you should finish what you start.
How you finish is just as important…finish well.
In life, as in football, you will have your fair share of ups and downs and how you face the end of each of those chapters has a lot to say about who you are and the kind of man you will become.
At the end of the day, finishing well is an issue of respect–a respect that starts with one’s self.
Perhaps this is our last week together. For you seniors, this may be the last time you put on a helmet and shoulder pads.
Finish well.
For you underclassmen, the temptation is to let up a bit–to take things easy–and to wait until next year before you think about the grind of football…
But how you finish one season is the foundation for how you start next season.
Choose wisely.
Choose to finish well.
