Hello Caimans:
Great week! We got 2 “WINS” which puts us at 8 - 1 - 6! Five more regular matches to go. Let’s finish the league season strong!
Player(s) of the Week goes to: Ryanna Schuler, Jerri Lopez, Kenna Chase & Abbi Hoffpauir. These two Double’s Duo has found their pairings and chemistry on the courts. They swept their matches yesterday against Charter and have amazing respect for each other & adore their partnership.
Ryanna Schuler is a 4th year Varsity tennis player. She is one of our most experienced player on the team. Although we’ve challenged her playing Singles, she has proven to us that she is more fierce in Doubles and has proved it:) Her opponents fear her at net as we sit back in awe watching her put the ball where nobody is “home”. She is our team “cheerleader” and has inspired us all on “CHOMPING” at the bit after each huddle! Ryanna you are our “CHOMPION"!
Jerri Lopez is our 3rd year Varsity Player, who’s been named “Sportsmanship of the year” 2017 & “Ms. Congeniality” 2018. She exudes kindness in her smile & gestures with a warm hello/goodbye hug. Our opponents are amazed by her grace! Each year we have seen you improve more and more. Pairing with Ryanna in doubles will complete this double’s duo. EVERYBODY LOVES JERRI!
Abbi Hoffpauir is our Freshman who has climbed the tennis ladder very quickly. Not only does she play tennis, she is also musically inclined. She goes from school, to tennis, to Moonlight Theatre to rehearse her part in this year’s Freaky Friday, singing in ensemble then returns home to eat then finds more time to practice more tennis and/or go to Youth group. She’s our "DURACELL Darling” of our team! She and Kenna have found their rhythm - Caiman’s "Smooth Operators” :)
Here’s the Link for “Freaky Friday” Tickets at Moonlight Theater. Clare & I plan to go October 19th…If you’re available…Let’s support our beloved “DURACELL”:)

Kenna Chase is our 2nd year Varsity Player. She tried out Freshman year and did not make the team. Her determination & goal was to get better and try out the next year…Guess what….IT paid off. Kenna is so focused, methodical, and has put her heart and soul in becoming a part of this team and has made great strides in learning the strategies of Double’s tennis. She has become WONDER WOMAN on & off the courts. Her bullet forehand zooms like lightning, her serves are sometimes UN-RETURNABLE and her touch shots has been dropping like melted butter. Kenna you’ve come a long ways since Freshman year. We are so thankful you have decided to stick with the “LOVE” game. You are a SPONGE! Keep absorbing:)
Congratulations to our Fabulous Four for being this week’s Player(s) of the Week!
