It is with great sadness that I bring you news that our beloved CAHS baseball coach, Ron Sisler, tragically passed away on Thursday afternoon. The entire Caiman family grieves this loss along with his son, coach Clay, and the rest of the Sisler family.
In just four years as head coach, Ron earned the respect of players, parents, and the entire San Diego baseball community, winning league championships, competing in CIF championships, and leading his team from Division 4 to Division 1 this past season. The Caimans are and will continue to be a top program in the county because of Ron’s leadership!
Ron loved his players and pushed these young men to be the best they could be as individuals and as a team. Ron taught that winning was not the purpose but was a result of excellence and character! Ron will be greatly missed by the entire Caiman community!
Here are a few articles on the team's achievements these past few years along with a video from when Ron was the Padres Coach of the Week in May of 2019.
