Happy Sunday BVB Family,

Also, Happy International Women's Day! I cannot say this enough: Our team mom's and the ladies who volunteer on our student staff make our team and our program better. I could not imagine this year without all of you. Thank you!

This past week our teams stood their ground against a stout Carlsbad volleyball program.  Those who were able to stay for the varsity match were treated to a great match. Although we did not get the result we were looking for, I think we found a ton of confidence and started to believe that we have earned our spot in Division I.  As a coach, it was easily the most joyous match I have ever had the privilege of coaching.

We marched into Orange Glen the following day and put our confidence to the test once again.  Frosh and JV set the tone with wins in straight sets. Varsity followed suit.

On Friday and Saturday, JV and Frosh went down to the Sweetwater Tournament and battled their ways to [add] records respectively.

It is hard to believe that we are nearly halfway through the season!  Here’s what to add to your calendars for the upcoming week:

Monday 3/9: Practice at EVCC; 330-530p

Tuesday 3/10: Varsity/JV at Fallbrook; JV @ 4p, Varsity to follow; Frosh - No practice/game

Wednesday 3/11: All teams at Ramona; JV/F @ 330p, Varsity to follow 

Thursday 3/12: Practice at EVCC 330-530p; Team Dinner 530-700p

Friday 3/13: JV/F vs Escondido at EVCC @ 330p; Varsity reffing (no Varsity match)
